        In2002 Marijanne moved fromGermanywithher family toChina.She has been living in Nanjingsince 2005 where she and her family feelat home.

    Marijanne holdsan university degree in Architecture / InteriorDesign. She has always shown strong interest in design, art andmainly sculpting. But it was here inChinathat she became interested in painting and developed her own style.

        2002年，玛丽娜和他的家人从德国来到了中国。从2005年开始，玛丽娜一家定居在了南京，一个让他们感觉和曾经的家一样的地方。   

    玛丽娜拥有建筑/室内设计的学士学位，她一直对设计，美术和雕塑领域充满了兴趣，然而来到中国之后，她开始专注于绘画，并且丰满了属于她自己的创作风格。 

        "Mypaintings are influenced by continuous fascination of people andreflect delicacy and various layers of human expressions, interactions, andfeelings. Ilike to sketch the persons in my paintings as a suggestion, leaving it to theeyes of the viewer to complete the imaginative line in search for his/her owninterpretation. Thereis no sharp border - the view of the observer determines the perception - as inlife."

        Thereis not much to say about my painting. I paint, because I like it.I like the lines, thin and thick, interrupted, up and down, all these differentcolours, so far and near from each other. I like the way the drawing becomes alive, this moment when it begins to breathe,when I begin to hear a whisper. I like to catch the soul so I can stop the time on the paper and give the peopleI paint a bit of eternity. Life is passing by so fast.Somany lives, so many hearts beating at the same time, in the same way …… alldifferent.

        Itis - fascinating.

        没有什么太多描述关于我的作品，我绘画，因为我喜欢。我倾心那些线条，粗或者细，被打断的，上或者下，不同的颜色，近或者远。我尤其欢欣作品完成的那一刻，仿佛它开始有了呼吸，而我甚至能听见它的口哨声。乐意去揣摩灵魂的我可以在纸上停住时间，让画中之人得到永恒-生命总是太短暂。如此多的生命，如此多的心灵在同时跳动着，用着同样的方式。。。却又都不同样。

        太迷人了!
